NorthFin™ BUG PRO™ is a premium quality insect-based formula that mimics the natural top-water food sources of many fish species. Like other NorthFin™ formulas, these uniquely-shaped 2mm “Crisps” contain easily digestible ingredients with 100% natural colour enhancers. BUG PRO™ is a well-balanced diet which can be fed directly or crumbled into smaller particles for a wide variety and sizes of freshwater or marine carnivorous and omnivorous fish.

Main ingredients :

Black Soldier Fly Larvae Meal –High in Protein (>40-50%) with a rich balance of amino acids crucial to a fishes growth and development. Excellent source of palatable fat including Myristic, Lauric and Linolenic fatty acids. Black Fly Soldier Larvae contain natural fibre, are low in carbohydrates and are a sustainable protein source of consistent quality.

Antarctic Krill – Krill contains high quality protein, amino acids, vitamins, and minerals. It is also a natural source of carotenoids, which bring out the rich and vibrant colours of your fish. Contains a high concentration of Astaxanthin which is a powerful natural pigment and antioxidant.

High DHA Omega-3 Whole Herring Meal – The highest grade fish meal, Whole Herring Meal contains a higher concentration of DHA which promotes healthy development, growth, and coloration in fish. Freshly caught and frozen.

Whole Sardine Meal – Very important and beneficial ingredient, which provides your fish with not just fully digested and absorbed proteins, but also with the following nutrients : Vitamin B12, Selenium, Phosphorus, Vitamin D, Calcium, Vitamin B3, Iodine, Copper, Choline, Vitamin B2. 

Sardine and Herring meals are one of the most concentrated sources of the omega-3 fatty acids EPA and DHA. 

Certified Organic Kelp – A type of marine seaweed, Kelp supplies approximately 60 minerals, 21 amino acids, and 12 vitamins. It also provides nitrogen, potassium, and micro-nutrients. Improves the overall health and activity of your fish. Kelp is a very good natural source of Vitamin K. 

Spirulina – This 100% natural blue-green algae is packed with raw proteins and a wide range of vitamins and minerals to promote optimal health and improve immune function. It also contains beta-carotene and other natural pigments for colour enhancement.

Calcium Montmorillonite Clay – Contains 67 minerals including calcium, iron, magnesium, manganese, potassium, silica, and more. Also provides essential trace elements.
